Here is a list of resources that you may access on the internet that has a wide amount of information on leaning disabilities including dyslexia. The International Dyslexia Association web page contains great deal of useful information and overview of the basic issues that are important every parent.


The Learning Disabilities Association of America (LDAA) web page has content about how to learn about Signs and Symptoms of the most common learning disabilities and simple strategies that you can use at home and for school. LDAA also has an advocacy program for parents that will help you understand and support your child.


The National Center for Learning Disabilities has information on no child left behind and the latest news on Identification & eligibility Procedures (IDEA) for Specific Learning Disability (SLD) and frequently asked questions. They also have a search engine on local resources of which a few are listed below.
